    Hi Lynnie - yes, it is hand quilted with stars. The white on white fabric has a star pattern on it, so I thought it was fitting. Besides, the baby will be a star in his/her own right. LOL

    Wow...that is so amazing your fabric choices were spot on with the new mom to be's colors. Congrats on a lovely quilt.

    Dot fabrics are my absolute favorite to use in quilts and look great in your 9 patches. Please share the giraffe fabric name if you know the name. I am making a baby quilt and was looking for backing fabric with giraffes. Thank you!
