    Oh - that has to hurt - I hope your DH's ankle heals quickly. Meanwhile he is sure to appreciate the beautiful quilt you made for him.
    My goodness - Calgary still has snow coming down? My brother lives in Fairbanks and I do believe that it is warmer there.

I grew up in a house that was pre civil war. The house was moved in 1911 to it's present location and they then owners added on to the house. attached a couple of pictures. I love the stone fences and this old house. It's in upstate New York. Your quilt has certainly inspired me. Thank you for posting the pictures.
