Went down to the fairgrounds to see if I won any ribbons on it. I didn't win on this one. But, I did get a blue ribbon on my hand pieced, hand quilted double bit ax. And, 3rd place on a One Block Wonder Table runner. So, I wasn't too disappointed. I got Best of Show on my Green tomato pickles in the canning section. So, I am happy.

It aint a quilt! It is what us southerners eat with fried catfish and pinto beans!!Its delicious. green tomatoes, onions, bell peppers and a little hot pepper to spice it up. All in a mixture of sugar, vinegar and water. Yummmmm! Some call it green tomato relish.

It is beautiful! I am intrigued by blacks and whites even though they are not me and your log cabin use is very, very pleasing. Best of luck at the fair.
