OK another question... I tried fleece on the back one time , it really stretched and pulled and secrets to share so that it doesn't do that ? Thanks

Don't use too stretchy a fleece. Polar fleece is the best. And don't try to quilt with too much stitching. It works great with flannel because the two stick to each other without having to use a basting spray. You can use minky fleece for babies with flannel, and just tying it every few inches works well. I did one by stitching on the diagonal every 3 inches, making diamonds. The nice thing is you don't have to finish the edges. I usually use my serger though; makes a nice edge.

That is so pretty. I like the back too. Is that pink piping or fancy stitching? Makes it extra pretty on the back.

Just found pictures of a flannel and fleece I did last year. Now this is a soft fleece. Hope you can see the detail. I used a walking foot for the stitching.

Sharon b -- I PIN PIN PIN the heck out of it while quilting, and I only quilt about every 12 inches -- enough to keep it together, but not "containing" the fleece

ilovejunknstuff -- it's just fancy stitching. hooray for a new machine!! =)
