I love the colors of that quilt & your big stitch quilting if fabulous. You sure can stitch great straight lines.
Plee1053: Here's what I copied from the internet: "Big stitch quilting, sometimes referred to as Utility Quilting, is a method of hand quilting that uses longer stitch lengths (1/4”) and thicker threads – most commonly #8 perle cotton. Really like this looks like two fabric quilt. The colors are great together and reminds me of my mil and relatives quilts. The simplicity of the pattern along with the 2 fabrics really sets the quilt apart. I too like the big stitch quilting technique. Thanks so much for sharing.
