I will try again in the future.

Here is a close-up (thankfully once it is in a room box, no one will really see it close up)

I think it's great Some quilts have larger squares than others. How is the world could it get any smaller. It looks perfect. You're just too critical of your own works.

I think it is quite cute.

However, I understand the size issue -- if it is too big, it is too big.

If this is case, consider donating it to the The Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative (http://www.alzquilts.org/index.html). This charity raises funds to aid research and awareness of this horrible disease by auctioning small (9" x 12" or smaller) quilts.

Ms. Shawn - I don't have a single one :-) My hubby's Uncle John creates these (those pictured aren't his either), so this quilt was made for him. One day he is going to give me a Jane Austen room box, but that probably won't be for years when he is ready to part with it. Right now, he told us, he is working on an Alice in Wonderland room box.

It's beautiful. Congratulations! Do you think you'll do some more? If I ever get over my terror of paper-piecing I'd love to try one.

Twilliebee - Yes I'm planning on doing a few more. There are some cute ideas for how to hang them on the The Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative website listed above. I will at least do one more for them, and then maybe a few as gifts. I really enjoyed making it!

Kelly I think your little quilt turned out very well...keep going and I am sure you will be even more pleased with your next one. Those little rooms are fantastic, such detail. Thanks for sharing.

These tiny tiny quilts are ... so ... tiny tiny! I can't even imagine working on one that has a dozen blocks. Yours is awesome!

My question is...if they are for a room box, aren't they stiff with all those seams? There's no way it would lay over a chair or sofa...or are they just hung on the wall like a display quilt?
