It's a little after the 4th but just in time for our summer festivals... the company will be coming all of July and there's lots of picnics and hanging out at the beach. I made this quilt with 10" squares that were swapped at www.thequiltandneedle.com. It was an Americana square swap. This was an easy pattern that was recommended on the same site... I blew it up to a 12" block to make it even easier. I needed something fast and easy after fussing with my 24" challenge quilt.

    Hi Northern Deb

Love the quilt.............. looks to nice to take on a picnic...... I would worry about something spilling on it and getting it stained.
I am also going to check out the site.

That's a picnic quilt? It sure is pretty - I'd be afraid of something happening to it. You did a beautiful job!

It's really pretty - I too would not want to get it dirty!

I love it -- it's gorgeous!! (Much too pretty to use outside -- maybe you should send it to me and treat it with TLC  )
