    Thanks for all the positives! The outer most parts of the quilt is done with bobbin work and crochet thread (scalloped area). As for making it....it's cut sizes plus 1" that you attached and either cut off or fold over and attach to the earlier piece, the directions from the book was difficult for me to understand, but I had a teacher! Once you do it it's easy to understand, but like I said....directions were confusing at least for me!

    WOW and WOW!!! I am impressed. At first I was a little confused by the color change in the two photos and then realized that what you have shown us is the front and back of the quilt. Don't know how you did what you did, but as I said, I'm impressed. Congratulations!
