If someone would have ever told me that one day I would have been sewing for my grandkids I would have told them...well, that's a long shot but a possibility. BUT, if they told me that one day I would not only be making quilts, dolls AND quilts for dolls...I would have laughed and said NEVER! And would tell them how silly that sounded...for I am not a seamstress!

Guess, I'm living proof that it's better never to say never! lol!
Now I've got to figure out how to make a child-size baby sling so DGD can carry her baby just like Mommy does....Is this ever going to end?!!!! (I hope not!) ;-) Have a blessed Sunday everyone!

First time to use Minkey and flange. I like how the Minkey backing kind of frames the quilt from the front side.

    Hi Karen

They are both adorable!!! I googled for Dinky babies and there are so many different sized patterns. What size does yours have?

Mine is the 14 inch. It's her basic beginner's Dinky baby. Comes with step by step pictures and pretty good instructions. I got the kit so that I was sure to have the right material for the doll. And the kit also comes with a baby onsie, diaper, wrist band, and embroidery needles.

You just don't know what you do not know.. hehehehe.. I can relate to what you will do for the Grands. I love it... What a great project... I just have too many things on my list again. But I think I will add this one to the "to do" list.. Thanks for the post
