    I just finished my mother's jacket. It is made out of swatches of drapery fabric, thus the many different colors, textures, and patterns. I hope she will like it!

    Wonderful!! how did you keep the strips so straight. I started making one with batiks for my DIL. By the time I got to the underarm from center back I was way off. Had to undo everything. Now it is packed away till I can get myself to work on it again. Once I have a hitch in a project I lose interest in it.

    Who wouldn't want to have one of their own, me included? The colors are so lovely and soothing. Very expert work.

    I used a cotton lining as with all the seems, it is already quite heavy.
