i know, and i enter plenty of them that do not receive any recognition at all, it is all just for fun (and when you win the viewers choice the fair makes a $50 donation in your name to the local MANNA foundation to help buy food for the food banks so that' s kind of cool)
she may take the quilt home and not bring it back to me in time for the fair, (her birthday is July 17, fair starts august 19) just have to wait and see, i still need to get the binding on it then i'm off & running in a different direction so, what ever happens happens. i will keep you all (in the loop) as this plays out...after all...she may not even like the quilt...

Very nice!! When I made my sister's birthday quilt with my mom, Mom and I decided we just might have to keep it, and switch it from her house to mine every few months. But then we thought....naw!!! Mary deserves it!! LOL

my boss sure is 'smitten' with this quilt, he took it from me and kept it for 2 days running all over the neighborhood showing it to anyone who would look :)
found me a new quilting customer or two in the process...how cool is that?
have a great weekend everyone...we are planning some busy days!
