    Default Finished my Waterfall Quilt!

I finished the binding this weekend! This is a small lap quilt that uses some Tula Pink blocks (straight up), some Tula Pink blocks that I added applique too, some applique blocks by themselves, and some negative space.

I like to 'quilt-as-you-go', by quilting each block and then joining them together. The vertical lines represent the waterfall. The blocks all represent scenes or things around my mountain home. I've also been working on my FMQ. I'm getting better! I love how this one turned out with the swirly splashy water.

Thanks for looking! (oops! I see a marking line I need to remove in my picture!)

Great expression in your quilt. Now, a question??? Is that a Christmas pickle on the lower portion?

your quilt is beautiful and you are doing a great job on your free motion. I am a long arm quilter and just can not retrain myself to move the fabric and not the machine!!

Very intriguing and special. I want to embroider antennae on that cute butterfly.
