It is so very pretty. Sewing their names around the border is a very cool thing to do! Gotta remember that!

I do not prewash my fabrics, with the exception of flannels. I want to wash it, shrink it up a little and check and see if any colors ran (I always throw in at least 2 Shout Color Catchers) and see if anything has come apart. These quilts were made to be used and washed. I have always washed and dried my quilts (in my front loader washer and dryer) before I have given them away. I have a wall hanging or two that I have not washed because they don't have the potential of getting dirty.

I did forget to go over it real good to get any threads off so I hope there arn't many hanging on!!!

What is this pattern, or is this from your head. I love this. It looks simple but has several different blocks. How many of each block do you make?

This is the third wedding quilt I finished in the last 3 days. I did not whip them up in that amount of time, just got them finished.

Okay, lets try this again. Don't know what happened with the last (2) posts.

I would like to know what pattern you used or if you had it in your head. I looks easy but I see several different blocks. How many of each block do you make for the pattern?
