Default Finished...and over the fear of curves...

I used Alpaca batting and this time it did not smell like it did like the first quilt I did. I wonder it that is because its been out of the package for at least 3 months. I did have to use the hand wash on the washing machine and then I hung it up to dry.

Your curved piecing is teriffic. No more fear of curves! Congrats.

when I started my first curved peicing project I didn't know a thing about doing curves or had anyone sayng to be scared of them. I just jumped right in. It took a while but I also saw the light in doing curves and now love them. There should be a club for those of us who have "conquered the curve".

I've always wanted to do curved piecing but always afraid. You just inspired me to try it again. Love your quilt.

Great job. Now that you are over your fear of curves think of the blocks you can do, like NY Beauty. I love your fabric choices and the scrappy binding. That zigzag fabric works wonderfully in both the DP blocks and the binding. Do you get your alpaca batting from someone who raises alpacas?
