    I love your quilt. I have always struggled with plaids in quilts but you really hit the nail on the head. And to hand quilt it is quite an achievement. I think it's hard to hand quilt flannel.

    I chose to use plaids and flannels because I like them and at that time was too ignorant to be aware of the issues! They don't all line up of course, but it's 'shabby chic' country charm, right? I didn't find the flannel that tough to quilt through BTW and the wool batting was a dream - maybe that made up for it? ;-)
