Stunning. I know how you feel about it not being appreciated. I spent way too much money to make my niece a quilt for her first child, making sure it suited their lifestyle. It wasn't appreciated and now that my niece is pregnant the second time, I won't be making a quilt for this child.

What a beautiful quilt and alot of work. I know how you feel - I gave a quilt to my son and his wife and the next I saw of it, it was on their bed as a blanket for the dog. Ouch.

How heartbreaking to have your beautiful quilt so little respected or valued. So glad you have photos to treasure. Love your chickens too. and your country--been there several times.
