Default Finished Quilt!

    Hello Everyone!
I posted this almost a year ago and I promised to post the final results. Well, here it is! I took on this project because a co-worker's son wanted to 'save' a quilt that his great-grandmother made for him 24 years ago. I told him I'd do what I can and this is it. The first picture is what he gave me to work with; the second picture is what I was able to salvage. It's not as beautiful as the ones I've seen posted here but he is VERY HAPPY! Thanks for all the encouragement you gave me!!

Wow! That is a labor of love. What a treasure. Sometimes a quilt is more about who gave it to you than the particulars of the sewing. I'm sure he is very happy!

Very nice - quite a transformation. Beautiful story behind this quilt.
