    What a fantastic idea :D And you did a wonderful job. :thumbup:

    After all, after you give someone a quilt, what is there left? Especially for a boy or man. Plus you can change the colors to pastels and give it to a girl.

    Someone gave a tip for sewing on vinyl not too long ago (can't remember what thread). One suggestion was using tissue paper over the feed dogs and under the presser foot. And there is also available a teflon foot. I think it's for that purpose. Maybe someone else with more info would respond to this.

    What a great picnic quilt--would be a great addition to a picnic basket gift for someone (I am thinking neat wedding gift here!!)
