    What a good idea! I would have never thought about using oil cloth as a backing.

    Nowhere does it say how to wash this. I remember oil cloth table cloths! They really didn't last that long, and you never washed them in the washing machine. By the time the back was quite soiled, the font was peeling and it was time for a new one.
