    Default Finished some raggedy throws

Finished a few throws...two to sell, one for a gift, one to donate for an auction. The first two are made with Woolies Flannel from Maywood. Love that collection! The third is from a flannel wildlife panel I picked up, the fourth is from a Billy Jacobs panel plus homespun from my stash with flannel on the back.

Very nicely done. I like that you used decorative stitching.

I've always sewn them together then cut, until this group. Now I sandwich my layers, clip the edges with my wonderful new spring loaded scissors. Approximately a half inch apart, not too technical or exact. After I've clipped the edges, I sew the squares together, making sure ALL the cut edges are on top. (Experience speaking here, lol)Sew the blocks into rows, then rows together. Launder, throw in the dryer...be sure to clean the lint filter several times during the dry cycle.

one of the ladies working at Joann's told me she throws a yard of netting in her washer and the stuff goes into the netting, shakes it and the blanket out. Then throws the netting in the dryer too. Use netting that has bigger holes instead of the tiny holes. Haven't tried it yet.

I'll have to try that tip...I go through lots of lint rollers.
