My nephew asked for a quilt at Thanksgiving. He had been estranged from the family so I was happy he wanted one. They ask for something that had ocean colors. To help him remember family is important I added embroidery at the bottom. I was having a terrible time putting the binding on and about 2/3 of the way around realized I didn't have my walking foot on. It is certainly better with the walking foot.

What a wonderful quilt. I just love the sentiment on the bottom of it. Isn't that the truth? Family no matter how imperfect, are is the ones who love you.
