    The white brings the quilt together. All I see in the second is the red. Both are lovely.. Msaster(Rosetta) :wink:

    I like the white for me but a child would really love the red.

    I got the pattern out of the August 2008 Edition of Better Homes and Gardens American Patchwork and Quilting Magizine. If anybody would like to have the pattern just pm me and I will e-mail it to you. This is a pattern that is so easy and comes together really fast even hand piecing like I do. It would be even fast on the machine. Thanks again for all the compliments. I think it would look really good with a dark color for the x's like one of you suggested.

    I think I prefer the red :)

    I am actually cutting out pieces for one of these for my son with blue and a mixture of reds, greens, blues and yellows. :wink:
