    Default Finished UFO

Started this one in 2007 when a friend of mine was getting married. Me and another friend started this quilt long distance to make for the wedding. The 'groom' called off the wedding. While cleaning out the 'stash' I found this quilt and all that was needed was the binding. Binding is finished so quilt is finally finished!! This is the largest quilt I have made so far, I usually stick to crib size. The was quilted on my regular sewing machine with a quilting foot.

Really nice quilt. Have you decided what you are going to do with it now?

Well since the woman didn't know it was going to be a wedding gift and has since moved to CO I thought of still giving it to her. What does everyone think? If she didn't know it was supposed to be a wedding gift? If not I'll find someone else to give it to.

That is very nice. It could be a Christmas quilt. Can't see the quilting but I am sure it is just as nice.

It is an amazing quilt (and gift). If you don't tell her the original intent of the gift-she won't have any choice but to truly love it!

I would say, give it to her. She need not know that it was a wedding gift. It looks beautiful and she may want a nice, beautiful quilt to cuddle up in.
