Thanks Karo...:0)I blasted thru that...augh! Just took the project off the shelf and plowed ahead! I had a few of the fish blocks done already. Also did a flannel star quilt that was one of my very first quilts and one that my old sewing machine died on:)So, finished those blocks till done too. But, don't feel bad, as it was a choice of cooking or quilting...and, you can tell which won!LOL Skeat

Karo: Hey! You got 6 blocks done!! Good job. The next time you sit at the machine you'll finish the quilt so our passion has to be completed in the time we have to pursue that passion. Some of us who are retired have more time than those folks who are still working, raising children and juggling "LIFE." Don't put yourself down for not completing huge numbers of quilt projects.......I bet you do have wonderful projects everyday that are being completed beautifully but pictures aren't be taken of those "works of art."

Feathers..thanks and you are so right...some of us are retired or like me...w/sick kids and snowed in this year:)So, it was quilt or eat or quilt or pull my hair out:)And, like I said...some of the UFO's were some I had started and parked! So finishing the tops weren't a major time consumer!LOL I like what someone on here said, 'just stitch for 10-15min a day 'while you are waiting on your coffee, kids, etc....I've been on a hand appliq piece/block for about 2 months..for I think, well, I know I have ripped more then I sewed:)Skeat
