Finished Wild Flying Geese top
Will have friend LA it by the end of the month of August. It will be for my bed. Blocks are negative and positive Wild Flying Geese by Eleanor Burns. I love the large blocks. I had to add the sunshine row down the quilt and change the borders. It all started with a bargain fabric from the Sampler in Chariton, Iowa...love her back room bargains! It is my sixth quilt for the year. Not too bad to be legally blind in one eye and see less than 90% in the other eye....dh is nice enough to thread the sewing machine needle for me. Love to quilt and go on shopping trips with other ladies..who are very kind to include me on their trips. Thank you.

Bloc-Loc Flying Geese template 2 1/2" by 4"made it easier to keep all the same size. I do hope the medical field will know more about the Optic nerve in the eyes someday. The left eye 'blew' out with no warnings and the right had some warnings signs that I immediately sought help for...so some vision saved there and I feel very blessed. If you close your eyes and see bright reds and blues, seek help quickly! Doctors. do not know what causes optic nerve to swell up or blow out in the back of the eye, by some miracles, they save a few.
