    Your scruffily quilt looks great!! I am doing this in red, black ,and white for my DD :mrgreen: Never thought of adding another square. I used all different stitches for the middle square. I really like how you did your though! great job!

    It was fun...and I just eyeballed the placement of the squares instead of measuring wich made it SUPER easy!

    I love the Moda one. Now do I HAVE to use the packs to make one? If not whats size blocks would I need?

    You don't have to use the moda packs, but you might want to invest in some pinking shears for that nice pinked edge.

    Its a fun pattern, and it works up very quickly. My picture is on my blog.

    The size of the blocks are 10, 5, and 2.5 inches respectively.

    I used 10-inch, 5-inch, and 2-1/2-inch blocks (because I used the packs)

    I have also seen it done with 9-inch, 6-inch, and 3-inch squares...
