I love all your quilts. They are so pretty. Your color choices are really great and pop. Were they kits or did you choose the fabric? Also, I love the Kaleidescope but what are the other patterns?

I am constitutionally unable to follow directions so these are just an assortment of quilts from my fabric stash. Quilt 2 is a super easy summer in the park quilt (Missouri Star Quilt has a great tutorial). I made this for a baby gift where the sex is not yet known. No 3 is a batik teselated star. Number 4 is "Moonglow" modification where I found some similar colored fabric and cut out the patterned circles to give a stain glass effect. If you search under "Moon Glow" I think there is a kit for it. if not, go back to the posts for this thread and someone mentions it. No. 5 is (LOL) a junk quilt. I get sick of making practice squares for my FMQ so I make junk quilts to practice on! No. 6 is an applique I designed myself. No 7 is just a scrappy quilt made with different blues using a small disappearing 9 patch design.

I love all of them, but especially the 1st one. My sister made a batik on black quilt in the same pattern! What are the chances of that? This was before she passed away. I don't know if it was ever quilted. A church quilting group would not hand quilt it, because they could not see the black stitches.

Oh, so many beautiful quilts. I've bookmarked this so that I can analyze your color combinations and placements. One of the things I like best is the size of the blocks. It seems like the larger blocks give the quilts a more modern look. You are quite the accomplished quilter. Congratulations on the amount and beauty of the UFOs you have finished. Do you use a long arm or DSM? I look forward to seeing more of your work. Thanks for sharing.

They're all beautiful! That has to be a great sense of accomplishment to finish so many.
