I finished up the edges on this quilt this morning, I am pleased with the way it turned out, not perfect but pretty good for my fist try at something like this. It is done in the fun and done pattern. I used a very thin batting and it is kind of stiff but after washing I hope it will soften up a bit.

I love that!!! I wouldn't have thought of doing it that way, but it did work out perfectly!! Let us know if it softens up some.

    That is one special quilt!
Washing the quilt on gentle cycle will soften it quite a bit.
Brave quilter! An all white quilt ... that is a serious piece of work.
    Good job!

Thanks everyone, I need to learn to slow down when I sew! I don't know why I feel I have to hurry all the time. This has no recipient at this time but I am sure I will probably have more grandchildren in the future so it will be saved for that I think.
