Hi girls :~) Taking a lunch break, so of course I had to come in and read while eating! LOL!
Thanks so much for the sweet comments everyone. Yes hubby is impressed, he is pretty funny about how proud he is for buying the shelving for me.

Hi meema field ... They are kind of rounded hearts. I am not sure the size. But the back and the flaps are pretty much the same heart pattern. You just fold each of the flaps in half and place batting in it. Sorry I can't be of any more help than that.

Hi ejudy ... Yes I did put the cording in before I quilted the flaps. It isn't anything really to do and yes it does make a big difference in the flaps staying flat after you use it. I would think especially if you aren't going to quilt the pieces before putting it together.

Thanks craftiladi! As soon as this canning is finished, I will get back to it! I already made a couple things in the new space. It is still a little confusing being turned around in there. And I miss my design board, A LOT! I need to figure out a solution for getting that back up quick!

Happy quilting to you too! Loved the hugs, by the way wraqez.

I love your sewing/quilting area. We just finished out our basement so now I have a designated sewing/quilting area. Still trying to get it organized. I had so much fabric boxed up and tucked away. It has been like Christmas unpacking all those boxes of fabric. Am eager to finish getting it organized so I can get started on my PILE of unfinished quilts. Enjoy your work area.

those potholders are cute. Are they newbie easy or couple of quilts later can make them?
