Cool Fire Island Hosta & Bali Wedding Star - WIP

I completed Judy Niemeyer's Fire Island Hosta quilt and have it hanging on the wall in the guest room.

I am currently working on Niemeyer's Bali Wedding Star pattern. I am making two wallhangings for my laundry room. All pieces are laying on the floor so if you see any errors in my layout let me know. I often take a picture to help me find errors. If I could do it again, I would choose beige neutrals for the background. I don't really like the colored background. Oh well, it's a learning process.

Those would definitely NOT be going in my laundry room. Those would be out where everyone could see how beautiful they are.

Your quilts are absolutely gorgeous. How difficult is sewing along a curve with PP?? I have Judy Niemeyer ISLAND SUNRISE which is a New York Beauty block but have never actually sewn a curved seam before. I am just plain chicken.

Those are beautiful quilts. Both need to be on display where they can be seen. I see you have a quilt inspector who helps decide what you can work on. Cats are the worst at just knowing where they can be in the way the best. lol

My sentiments exactly. Unless you plan to invite guests in that room to see them???
There's too much work to put them in there with dirty socks… lol
