The pattern is by Pat Wolfe and I found it in American Quilter magazine last Nov. She had one 20" star block, framed with a black batik background. I changed it up by making 7 more and changing the sizes, so they range from 6" diameter to 20" diameter.
There are 8 stars each a different color: turquoise, pink, red, yellow, blue, green, orange and purple. Some or all also have gold metallic fabric &/or thread as part of their design. Still lots more stitching to do. I will post a pic. of the finished quilt, when it get's to that point- a month from now?
I have that American Quilter magazine. I'm going home to find it now. That's just gorgeous.!!

I'm so jealous of you all, I'd love to be able to become a member of AQM to get this pattern, but they don't except paypal. :-(

Anxiously waiting to see the finished 'circle of fire'.....most beautiful pp I have seen............well done! :D

I'm hoping to finish with the last sleeve and binding today. Then make the label and get that sewn on. I'll take pics. this week and get them on here. It's finished size is 63" X 75".
