The pattern is by Pat Wolfe and I found it in American Quilter magazine last Nov. She had one 20" star block, framed with a black batik background. I changed it up by making 7 more and changing the sizes, so they range from 6" diameter to 20" diameter.
There are 8 stars each a different color: turquoise, pink, red, yellow, blue, green, orange and purple. Some or all also have gold metallic fabric &/or thread as part of their design. Still lots more stitching to do. I will post a pic. of the finished quilt, when it get's to that point- a month from now?
Pat Wolfe is a phenomenal quilter here in So. CA. She won an award for her quilt and the cover of the magazine. She also is a very nice and humble person. You would all love her :D :D :D
