    I have that same fabric , love it! I also made a microwave bowl for myself but I did use the Warm Tater cotton batting and do put it in the microwave with no problems. Next one I make will be in a darker print so the splashes don't show and also a bit deeper. Trial and error :-)

    VERY NICE .... LOVE the grape themed fabric.....also a great project, never heard oif this , but love the idea!

    What a good idea. If you used all cotton batting could you put it in the microwave?
