    Beautiful quilt and what a great way to recycle the fabric sheets. I always use a light weight interfacing.

    they are lovely. that is the Eleanor Burns method and i use it on all my sunbonnet sue blocks and more.

    I learned this applique method, also, and I really like it. Especially with machine applique, because I prefer the piece remain soft instead of using stabilizer, and it turns the edges under very nicely. Looks great!! You did nice work.
