    Default First attempt...not to bad...

This is my first attempt at sewing something other then a quilt or a crib sheet. And with just a general pattern...as the pattern I used was for a kindle and ours is a nook. Then my dear hubby picked out fabric that the pattern would be upside down if done wrong. So that added to the job..all in all it turned out good. He wanted his to be able to stand alone so he could read from it and not have to hold on to it all the time. This will stand up on the counter or in bed. It doesn't need to lean against something. I know the next one will turn out better...

Looks great, I really need to make one for my Kindle. This is a site I bookmarked to make myself one but haven't done it yet. Figured I would share it in case anyone is interested.

You did a great job -- it is really hard to make sure the pattern of the fabric is all running in the correce direction. Good job!
