I paper pieced the panda and wanted to try more machine quilting, sooooo..... I started stippling! That dern thing sticks! I had to adjust my speed, and it worked a tad better. This really is something you just have to practice! I have been attempting it in my head for a long time, but doing it is rather more difficult. I must say I am glad that I finally DID it. now it will be easier to do the next one!
Also, most of my problem with attaching photos is with my dial up! :? I have dial up at home, and probably won't change until I HAVE to. When I go to wireless, it works like a charm! What a difference! (I can use wireless at work and it is so slick! Laptops are wonderful! )

He's so cute! I absolutely love it! I think I'm right with you. I'm going to give stippling a go here sometime soon.

That is such a cute wallhanging! I think your stippling looks just fine. You are right in that the first one is tricky, but you'll find the next ones are easier.

Thank for all you comments! I don't know if I would have tried it so soon without all the encouragement from this board!
I was inspired by a post I first noticed in December by Fancyfoot.
The free pattern is from piecebynumber.com I enlarged the pattern so the block is about 12 by 12, and with borders is about 21 inches square. I enjoyed the panda so much I pieced 12 of them! I am finishing them slowly for gifts. I still have to do one for myself! AND they all have labels!
