First attempts @ FMQ
Just putting up some pix of my first FMQ exercises & scribbles...
This is where I started. Got an ok handle on this ~ 1/2" meandering, I think. I tried to make bigger ones, but couldn't...had to stay smallish:

Then it all went to poop...started getting tired.
Scribbles and proof that I can't turn left ↓

Loop-de-loops were so-so:

Different stuff

Second round of loopies were better, but you can tell exactly where I started to get tired (top left). This was after about another 20 minutes or so

It takes a lot of practice to get good doesn't it? But this is the best way t go - I'm thinking they look pretty good. That is what I should be doing right now instead of playing on the computer. Keep up the good work.

Look at you go! It gets easier, believe me. You'll build up an incredible amount of endurance. You've tackled quite a lot of designs and I can see you are going to be an excellent FMQer! Relax those shoulders, dance with the fabric, lose yourself in the patterns, and you'll accomplish beautiful designs!

Interesting looking at your work..some of the patterns look exactly like the ones I've been using on the quilt I've got going! Especially the loop-de-loops and the horizonal back-and-forth pattern. Keep up the good work!
