    Hey Izy

Lovely to see you back in here - when did you sneek in? LOL

Yes I shall keep your option in mind I think I am going to square the block up once I have made the other 2 blocks which are going to end up attached to it. That way I will be able to see if it needs tweeking.

I admire you for doing the needle turn. I am always being so exact getting it the way I want it before I pin it on. I use the english paper piecing method most of the time. but, sometimes I use the iron on for projects that don't matter, like wall hangings.

All that aside, I love the direction this is going. So charming and cottagey looking.

I just took a class in needle turn and now have the utmost respect for anyone who does it.

I think your block is wonderful--so what if it took awhile to complete it!

For what it's worth, to me it's very soothing work. I have a huge list of projects I want to applique using needle turn. Nothing at my house is getting done too fast either....lol

I have seen a lot of quilt patterns with houses that are pieced and have not been really impressed, but the vine and the bottom of the block, under the house simply takes this over the top. The background is just perfect to display the house and vine. You are a true quilter if you have a project you wanted to work on for months and are just now getting a round to it.
