I bought the pattern and the fabric several months ago. I've cleared the deck of my other in-process quilts and plan to start in 2 weeks. There was no BOM when I purchased my materials (I was hoping there was, but alas). Yes, there are a million pieces, and it would have been easier paper pieced, bit it is what it is. And I am so anxious to start, glad to see there is at least one quilt buddy I can talk with. Go Team. BTY, yours are awesome

After posting and starting my "second" owl, I am humbled to realize I am angle challenged as well..............yikes I had the middle section reversed and upside down. Maybe I shouldn't be sewing with a terrible head cold and on cold medicine! Luckily I didn't have to take off the HSTs. With red face, (and nose) here is the corrected version:

I love that owl block-no matter how many pieces there are. I will look forward to seein more of this quilt's blocks. Your work looks beautifully done and I am glad you are so pleased with it.
