Default First Finished Quilt- a baby quilt

This is my very first finish on a quilt. I had done some piecing previously, but never quilted or done binding. It's a baby boy quilt for a co-worker. I might try my hand at hand binding in future. I wasn't overly thrilled with the machine binding. I wonder if anyone has recommendations for marking pens or pencils. The chalk I used didn't wash out on the first wash. Anyway, here's the finished product.

You did a great job! It's a wonderful quilt for a boy. I love that backing fabric, too. Where did you find it?

Great job! I wish I could say that my first quilt was close to that good.
