    Thanks Mamia ! You are correct. My mom, grandma, & aunt all worked for the Ladies Garment Workers Union. I grew up hearing the buzz of sewing machines. Quilting was something I always wanted to try but just never seemed to get around to it. Life is going quickly so I figured I better get started on something. Not going to lie though, several (many) of those seams got ripped out and redone I couldn't stand it if they didn't match up !

    wow, i'm really impressed. most first quilts aren't nearly that elaborate. you must have been a very accomplished sewer before you started quilting. keep up the good work.
