    Thought I would post this memento quilt of my first great grand and his mom, Claudia. Since time flies so quickly, he is two years old already, and has a sister coming in February. Time to plan for another keepsake.

    Yes, all the flowers are fussy cut (poor fingers) and appliqued. In the four corners are the 'tree of life' motif echoed from within the flower. This is an Embroiderie Perse design completed in another Quilt University class. The background fabric is black, but I overexposed the photo so the quilting would show up.
