    how funny! I want to live there too The book I used was called "Replique". I also used messy style applique. you can take any picture you love or that means something special to you. Trace the details you want, than you sew on the picture right on the paper. the paper will eventually tear away. My feed dogs were down most of the time. The thread for the sky was sulky, and was sparkly. I forgot the name of it, but I love it and used it also in the water I believe. I got that idea from a quilt show. That is what I do. I get stuck (cause I really don't know what I am doing), than google ideas, or look at pictures, than move on.

    I am already loving this forum and just hope my family gets dinner tonight. haha! great meeting all of you fellow quilters.
