Your work, Andrea, is just superb! I decided to try handquilting just recently. The top looked OK, but when I turned it over - well- I think you'd have had a good belly laugh. It looked like - as my grandmother used to say - 'nothing on earth with the lolly licked off'. Every stitch at the back was in a different direction. Needless to say the piece is back in the cupboard, where it will stay until I feel like humiliating myself again.

I wish I could afford to buy you a plane ticket to come and teach me!!! OMG the perfection there, I would go insane trying to do that by hand! I do believe you are a master handquilter... just gorgeous.
