FIRST PP attempt!!! Candle quilter Star
#15
Im glad you all like it, it looks better in the picture believe me
I think I need to take it apart into four sections and square it there, then sew it back, Im just afraid I will ruin the middle star, or stretch the whole thing... must tread lightly!
you cant tell from the pic but there are two different prints on the cream because I didnt know how much fabric PP takes, and a couple of the cream are upsidedown, it is hard to keep track with all of the turning and flipping involved with PP

i have one quarter of a square and mine is a little puckered too....and i thought i had done enough paper piecing beforehand to handle it. i think with this project the paper you use does matter. oi. think i'm gonna go have at it again. yours really does look nice :)

It did turn out better than I thought it would, but I dont feel it is good enough to pass on to Candlequilter
I dont even know where to begin on fixing it, I dont want to make it worse.
what do you think?
