    Just want to share my latest accomplishment. I promised myself I'd make a Mariners Compass one day and here it is. I must admit I'm kind of proud of it. Hope you like it and feel challenged to make one. Paper piecing is not and never will be my favorite way of quilting, but it sure did help with this block.

    This is absolutely gorgeous and I hope to make one someday. I do not paper piece so this may be a challenge (smile). You did a great job. Thank you for sharing.

    Quite impressive and ambitious for a first pp attempt. ;-)

    What method did you use to place it on the background - quarters, applique, inside-out?
