    interesting first art piece! i think i would look at others' s art pieces for ideas....find something that inspires you! it will come to you...

    it's an incredible quilt, I love the little houses at the bottom! I would do glittering stars in the sky,

    I agree that your quilting should continue the feel of the art piece. Almost straight lines down the mountains, echo outline the houses, branch the trees, do cloud work in the sky and a bit off a wavy feather look on the bird. The main look should follow the element it is in and enhance it. This is nice work for anyone, that this is your first piece is fantastic.

    Hi,as far as art quilts go I am strictly a looker so I would not have any idea how to start quilting but hey stunning and elegant are descriptions that spring to mind

    I agree with ManiacQuilter for the most part. Not sure about the cloud puffs but she is right on about the other quilting. You did a great job.
