I live in Topley, it really is a small world

WOW - it IS a small world!

Too bad you didn't know about the class - our instructor drove right by your place. She came in from Houston. The class was at the department store in Vanderhoof. I'm taking another one there on Oct 24.

I'll have to contact you when I'm in your area. I work part-time at all the west district schools so Topley is on my rounds.

The first class I signed up for was a sampler quilt. The lady gave me the supplies list and reminded me not to forget my "stash."

    Stash? what stash?

That would be the stash required for the "SCRAP sampler class"

SO not only did I need every modern quilting tool known to woman (mat, ruler, rotary cutter.... a decent machine) but I also had no fabric to speak of. $150 later, at least THAT problem was solved. So I KNOW what happened to you and I also KNOW how really really good that felt. Right?

Nicely done on the project btw.

Your block is fantastic. I like paper piecing for the precision; but it's sooo sloooowww.

Wow! The block looks great. I really enjoy quilting classes. I made my own class on Sunday and made some witch blocks for trick and treat bags for my nephew and nieces.
