I was going to make this quilt and hubby kept saying he wanted to sew. I figured this would be good to start with since it's paper piecing. He really loved doing it and did very well with the 1/4 seams when it came time to sew the squares, borders and binding. He's been sandwiching and pinning my quilts for a while cause he does better than me. I guess it was time for him to have the fun of sewing too.

He did great! Paper piecing to start? I haven't tried that!

Very nice! I wish my DH would sew with me. He's much more creative than I am and I'm sure he'd come up with some really great ideas.

Very nice quilt. You husband did a great job on his first quilt and hopefully it is a start of many more to come. Thanks for sharing.

He looks very proud of his work, and he should be. Great job. I'll watch for more of his quilts. How fun to have a quilting partner right at home.
