Default First quilt I made 9 years ago

This was the first quilt I ever made. Why the teacher had us working on 3" flannel squares...I did learn a lot. Anyway, this quilt is used daily by my granddaughter. It goes between her top sheet and her bed covering (not something I made). It has been washed a gazillion times. It has warm and natural batting and a flannel backing. I just looked at it again last time we were there and it is holding up wonderfully.

Looks like it has been a great nine years, I know your grand daughter is loving it every day. It looks very warm and I love the colors. Thank you for sharing with us.

I've bookmarked this for future reference. I have some flannel that would look cute done like this. Thank you for sharing this with us.

So nice that she really enjoys her quilt. I prefer to see my grandchildren use their quilts rather than have them hanging on a wall.
